Online Trading Start - Setting Up a Scottrade Account

This Thursday I set out on my journey to getting the big bucks in the stock market game. I started an account at Scottrade. Reason I chose this company was due to the fact I had been referred to it by a friend. Actually his name is Steve Hoven of StockDoubling.com He told me it was the best deal online for brokerage service with great support. With $7 trades, he said you can't go wrong.

The process is easy to get set up. It took all of 20 minutes to jump through their hoops and chose the closest brokerage house (another benefit is the physical locations). Last thing after getting to the confirmation page is to actually send in a check with 2 forms. (IF you forget those, you will have to do it again I hear. )

I should be set to begin trading on Tuesday or Wednesday. However long it takes to credit my account. I started with $500 and I hope to do the stock doubling game like steve at his site. Will also start an IRA. Never too early to think about it!

Monday is President's day so the market is closed then anyway....
